A 9-inch (or $230\text{ mm}$ or $235\text{ mm}$ metric equivalent) circular saw blade is a less common size than $7-1/4\text{ inch}$ or $10\text{ inch}$, but it is available and generally used for cutting wood with some larger handheld circular saws, or in some smaller table or miter saws.
